It's all in the mind

What attracts me to running is the mental perseverance that it takes, more than the physical. I have learned so much about pushing through tough times from running. It's more than a sport or hobby, but an inside out body experience that has shaped a big part of how I handle life now.

My love for running began in 6th grade and carried me through cross country and long distance track in high school. Recently battling some health challenges, it's put a damper on my ability to run, but I am encouraged that I feel well enough to do a half marathon with my friends!

I look forward to venturing out to new locations to run at, re-developing my endurance, and experiencing the "runner's high," which is the most amazing feeling a runner can have!!!

  1. So true! I like! When do we want to start meeting up together for our runs?

  2. We definitely need to start in the beginning of September according to that 3 month training schedule that I emailed.

I am so out of shape it's disgusting. Hopefully when we work together we can run at lunch =)

Do you want to have lunch at expo to talk through the plan? That way our husbands can be on board too.
